Today was the shoot for our shopkeeper profile for docoumentry. I got to the barber shop in mentone at 10, met Peter and Ben, gave them the tapes....then they started filming and I asked people in my most pathetic voice:

"Ah excuse me kind sir, we are students from deakin university, and as you may have noticed we are making a documentr. (cheesy smile) Would you mind signing this here release form? (cheesy smile) Thanking you!"

The location was really good. Its a really old style barber's shop. Has that old barber shop feel. Thankfully shooting seemed to be rather painless. And all but one customer signed our form.

However, I probably have no right to complain because I didn't do any shooting, but I've just been watching back the first tape, and the shots aren't held for very long, its kinda shakey, and the audio is pretty muddy. So hopefully the second tape is better, because it may be a tad difficult to edit....

Now, I work on my monologue....
