Mushy brain and numb mouth

I went to the dentist this morning. GOW! I've never understood the prevelant anti-dentist culture we live in. I like to think of going to the dentist as being just like a manicure, but for your mouth. I find it quite a privlidge.
In this busy, capitalist, 9 to 5, work centric, crazy crazy world of ours we should really relish any opportunity to lie back and have people service us.
Anyway, a couple of hours later and the local anesthetic is wearing off, so my mouth is de-numbifying. But this leads me to my next question - did one of you inject my brain with something while I had my eyes closed in Intergrated? Because I have MUSHY BRAIN, and its not wearing off...
All of this is a long winded set up of the following discussion:
THE BROTHER LUSTIG RADIO PLAY ADAPTATION
(in other news, some lady just rang me up from the bank about accidental death cover. If i'm dead, why do I need money?)
Anywho, I am finding this adaptation rather challenging. In my reading of both the brothers grimm version, and Adam's storyteller version, there is quite a richness of plot, however, my mushy brain is having trouble putting them together. I think because we're doing this as a radio play the drama or conflict needs to be largly interpersonal so that it can be delineated through dialogue. So one problem i have is the conversion of some plot devices into dialogue.
The second problem is finding the voices of these characters.
The third problem is consolidating the story into 15mins. How to lose some of the scenes without losing the set up of other scenes that they provide?
But I did have a go at writing the first scene....its just a little bit dodge though...and my mushy brain isn't helping.
I've been meaning to write out a whole great big story plan...but again mushy brain intervenes...
When it comes to pure thinking tasks, i really should just be able to sit here and do it.
