Oooh. Uni results just came through via sms. That's pretty sweet, and quite unexpected. For my single first year psych unit I got 95.

The slightly annoying thing about psych is that they don't give you a precise mark for the essay, and you can only estimate how you went on the exam from the final mark.

I estimated that my essay might have been about 85 at most. And via my exam result estimation technique, I guessed that the best I could have done was 93.

So

85 x .40
+ 93 x .60
= 89.8

But I clearly didn't estimate properly. So I properly did a fair bit better on both the essay and benifited from statistical adjustment on the exam.

Anyway, i'm more than happy with that, even though i did have a lot of free time to study and a pre-frontal cortex advantage.
