Stardust

One of my favourite Neil Gaiman books, Stardust, is being made into a movie. And the rumour is, that Neil's friend Tori Amos might be actually playing a tree. How exciting is that?

True Neil and Tori fans will no doubt be aware that Neil modeled the tree character after Tori.

Yup, he talks about it on a podcast with JJJ. Its got some big big names associated with it. BTW his blog is one of the first apparently. Oh and lets not forget that i got him to sign my Tori Amos cd which has the line "Wheres Neil when you need him", to which he answers "Im right here in Melbourne". ....... Jealous?

If the hero gets the girl, will she be uprooted?

After years of hearing about her from ye, I listened to a song of hers finally.
I listened to 'Time' which is a Tom Waits cover, and...
and...
Well, dammit all that woman... she made me love again!! *sniff*

Oh, one other thing
my Dad just got into the Neil Gaiman, and bought himself the dvd of 'Neverwhere', a BBC production if I recall.
If I can a-copy it, I shall.
